Colon cleansing, also known as colon hydrotherapy, colon irrigation, colon therapy and/or high enema, is the process of allowing a gentle continuous flow of warm filtered and purified water into the large intestine. Colon cleansing helps loosen hard, encrusted fecal matter from the walls of the colon. This is done in a private setting where you will be fully draped in a private room.
